VINTAGE CHURCHILL NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION (VCNA)
Welcome to the neighborhood... that is, the Vintage Churchill Neighborhood Association (VCNA)! By attending on Oct 20th, it shows that you care and want to be a part of everything that is good in our community. The members of the board, community leaders, and guests were very excited and motivated at the positive atmosphere shared in the school's multipurpose room. Together, we can keep the positive vibe going and continue to foster a place to live that is safe, thriving, and engaging. Just to recap a few highlights from that get together:
- The first Neighbor Watch Meeting was held on Wed, Oct 26th, with Laura Grossman from the County Sheriffs office with 11 members in attendance. More will be held as requested.
- Your board met Tues (Nov 1st) to discuss adding a Facebook component to our outreach. This will hopefully allow interaction of info such as car washes, yard sale notices, news flashes, crime alerts, school activities, etc.
- Jimmy Yee, our new County Supervisor Dist 2, was in attendance and is on-board with the VCNA to help
- There is a graffiti abatement program now in effect through the Sheriffs Dept contact Laura Grossman
- Much more to come...
